Not entirely, and that’s exactly what makes them work! Cubby Bubs training pants are designed as a step between full nappies and regular underwear. Perfect for day and night-time training, with just enough protection to help your little one build confidence and develop important toilet training cues.

We recommend starting with 4–8 pairs (2–4 two-packs). This gives you enough undies to comfortably manage little accidents while keeping on top of laundry. As your toddler grows in confidence and accidents become less frequent, you may find you need fewer pairs but having a few extras on hand always makes the journey feel more relaxed (especially on busy or daycare days).

Super simple! Wash them just like everyday kids’ clothes. Place the training pants in the washing machine on a warm cycle with your usual detergent, then air-dry them fully. Avoid bleach, fabric softener, and the tumble dryer, these can damage the absorbent layers and the waterproof lining.

That’s completely normal. Night-time dryness usually comes later than day training.
